One homepage score does not describe every collection or product page. Missing real-user data on a low-traffic store is not automatically a failure, and a better lab result does not prove more sales.

Scope may include image and font delivery, unnecessary theme code, costly scripts, app dependencies or layout stability. Shopify already provides platform-level hosting and delivery optimisations; the value here is finding controllable issues in your implementation.

Some fixes depend on an app vendor or merchant decision. Removing a script can break a required feature, so approvals and functional testing matter. I distinguish issues I can address directly from external limitations.

Recheck the same pages under comparable conditions and test the agreed navigation, product selection and cart behavior. Handoff records what changed, what was measured and what remains unresolved.

There is no guaranteed speed score, ranking position or conversion uplift. Business-outcome measurement requires its own reliable data and attribution plan.

Do apps affect performance? They can; evaluate their impact and business value rather than assuming every app should be removed.

Can the whole store be covered? The quote states representative page coverage and any additional templates or workflows included.
